We Appreciate Adams!
The PTA and families at Adams try hard throughout the year to show the Adams staff and teachers that they are appreciated. There are many ways to do this - from volunteering, to gift giving, donations and of course saying "Thank You". Below are some resources and opportunities for you to find a way to best express your gratitude.

Staff Appreciation Binder

Did you know there's a big green staff appreciation binder in the front office? Families can use this binder to find out what their child's teacher truly enjoys in terms of snack foods, sweet treats, restaurants, hot/cold beverages, places to shop, etc. Use it to gather ideas for the holidays, teacher appreciation week, and end of year gifts. The lime green binder is next to the PTA mailboxes.  Feel free to snap a photo & share your teacher's favorites with other parents in your class.

Appreciation Lunches

Honoring our Adams staff throughout the year is a fun way to get involved with our school. Each month, individual grade levels along with the PTA host a themed lunch or special treat for the entire staff. For example, on Back-to-School Night, the PTA brought in Pagliacci pizzas and salads to feed our teachers.

On Nov. 19, kindergarten families will kick off our monthly grade level hosted lunch with soups, salads, beverages & desserts. Other grade levels have been assigned the following dates to host a lunch:

Jan: 5th grade
Feb: 2nd grade
March: 4th grade
April: 1st grade
May: 3rd grade

If you would like to volunteer & head up your grade level lunch, please contact Christine Gregory.

Duties include securing a date, establishing a theme & setting up/overseeing contributions through Sign Up Genius. It's pretty simple and Christine will help you get started!
