Fifth Grade Schedule/Guidelines

All students were given information on how and what they can do during the 14 days.  If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.  We will be reading our emails daily.

To mirror school time spent on tasks students should practice:

Math 70 minutes-  the month of March is dedicated to multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals, and word problems.

Reading: 60 minutes- Working on reading non-fiction, understanding text features, making inferences, collecting information. We sent home StoryWorks and students had check out time in the library.

Writing: 45 minutes- We are learning about Roanoke. They can start writing their opinion pieces as to what they think happened to the Lost Colony of Roanoke. I will be putting some videos on Schoology focusing on some skills they can learn to help them write their paper.

Science 45 minutes every other day- Space and constellations- What constellations do we see when and where.

Social Studies 45 minutes every other day- Colonial history, follow Liberty's Kids they have a good timeline.

Art 45 minutes- when you can squeeze it in.-

Also, don't forget to PLAY and spend time together.
