Your donation directly supports Adams Elementary. This year the PTA will give over $170,00 to Adams.* We are grateful for any contribution. Your donation enhances arts ­infused learning, supports our students, our teachers

Your Donation to Adams PTA

Supports Our Teachers

The PTA gives $40,000 to hire playground staff all year. “Having playground staff cover the recesses so that we can quickly make copies, email a parent, or go to the bathroom is invaluable” says Ms. Lamon, a 2nd grade teacher.

 

We also give $350 to each teacher to help cover classroom supplies and field trips. “I appreciate how the PTA supports teachers because it helps us provide supplies for students in need and scholarships for after school programs.” Ms Woodside, 4th grade.

Our Students

Our students learn in an arts ­infused classroom. All our teachers have been trained to build art into the study of math, reading, writing, science, and history. The PTA will give $13,000 this year to fund arts ­infused curriculum, supplies, assemblies, and instruction. We also give $8,000 to support our full ­time music, dance, and PE teachers.

Our Community

The PTA hosts many free all ­school events each year. These include a fall party, the family dance, and the carnival in the spring. The PTA publishes a family directory each year. We provide funding for building, playground, and landscaping improvements. We direct money through the school counselor to support families in need. We will spend $30,000 building community this year. And that’s just the beginning. Come to our PTA general meetings to learn more about everything the PTA does.

The Big Give is Adams annual direct donation fundraiser event. It runs for one week each fall. It's ease and low overhead cost means that funds go directly to supporting our school, teachers and students.

Please Give What You Can

Most of the money raised by the Adams PTA comes from two big fundraisers. The Big Give in the fall, and the Auction in the spring. In the past our fundraising goal has been $170,000. Do to the pandemic we have the PTA is currently put all Auction fundraising efforts on hold. To learn more about  fundraising efforts, goals and the PTA budget for the 2020/2021 school year please join us for the Fall general meeting, date TBD.
