Adams 2020/2021 Multicultural Potluck Cookbook
The Adams 20/21 multicultural cookbook is now available for preorder and available to the Adams community! This cookbook was created from stories, art, and delicious recipes submitted by Adams families, staff, and teachers, representing a variety of countries and cultures. The inspiration for this project was born from Adams annual multicultural potluck event, which prior to Covid-19 was held in the school cafeteria and celebrated the diversity of backgrounds at Adams.
We have three different price points from free to helping cover the costs for someone else, so pay what you can. Anyone who wants a cookbook will get one.
Cookbooks will be available for pickup in early June; in some cases we can drop them off for you. We will contact you via email or phone.
This is $14 and covers the
cost to print a cookbook.
You will have the option to purchase more than one.
This is $20 and covers the cost to print a cookbook as well as helps another family get a cookbook. You will have the option to purchase more than one.
The cookbook will be 5.5x8 inches, has a paper cover, and is bound by a ring through a single hole punch. Some recipes include the recipe in the original version in addition to the English version. The hope is that this project will live on, and that recipes from future years could be added to this cookbook.
On checkout, there is also an option to get the cookbook fully translated in to Spanish. We are hoping to also have a version available in Somali.
Payment for the cookbook covers printing costs. If you choose the Purchase & Support option, it will go towards helping cover the printing costs for someone else as well. If there is additional money leftover, it will go towards future equity work at Adams.
